Briefly about the club

  • Format: International, anglo-russian sailing and yacht club
  • Membership base: More than 700 members worldwide (data as of September 2009)
  • Events on water: Our own regattas, flotillas and sailing trips, in the UK, Mediterranean and Atlantic. ‘Kabestan’ sailing team participates in most of UK’s major sailing events, such as JP Morgan Round the Island Race and Cowes Week.
  • Events on land: Christmas dinner, in London, as well as member drinks in London, Moscow and St. Petersburg throughout the year.
  • Partnerships and information sponsorships: La Pensee Russe, Ocean TV, Yacht Russia, Sunsail, London Boat Show, Southampton Boat Show, Moscow International Boat Show, RYA

 

Sponsorship opportunities

  • Main and exclusive sponsor for ‘Kabestan Sailing and Yacht Club’ and all the associated events.
  • Prize sponsor for a particular race, club regatta and all of the club racing events
  • Race sponsor for one of the major club races, for example Russian Round the Island Race
  • Event sponsor on water, for example, ‘Kabestan - Solent 2010′ regatta
  • Event sponsor on land, for example, club’s participation in Moscow International Boat Show.
  • Special sponsor for the club’s Annual Christmas Dinner

 

Club’s services:

  • Reference to the sponsor in all of the press-releases/news/articles/TV and Sky news and feature items/general advertising.
  • Reference to the sponsor in monthly mailing distributions to club members (1200 people as of May 2010)
  • Event places/tickets for representatives of the sponsor company and their partner base.
  • Use of the sponsor company name in official race/event title.
  • Use of sponsor’s branding at all of the events, at sea and on land. For example, in the marinas where the events take place, in UK and in the Mediterranean.
  • Use of sponsor’s branding on the hull and guard rails.
  • Use of sponsor’s branding on the sails (spinnaker/main/cruising chute)
  • Use of sponsor’s branding on the website of the club
  • Use of sponsor’s branding on the official event clothing, such as caps, t-shirts and fleeces.
